Popular Post juan
Hi guys, There is a bug in this vMX version which prevents temporal license installation. License is needed especially in PE nodes to configure MPLS VPNs, for instance. The workaround can be found in this link: Spoiler This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up I have successfully tested in and works. Only thing is that license is valid for 30-days trial, instead of the supposedly 60-days trial. I read upon expiration, it is only needed to "wipe" your nodes in eve-ng (that I use in my case). Trial license number is as follows: Spoiler E435890758 aeaqic aiagij cpabsc idycyi giydco bqgiyd sdapoz gvqlkk ovxgs4 dfojcx mylma4 uhfs7p etdlfc ex2i5k 4mo4fa ew2xbz ujzbol 4fl44z ya3md2 drdgjf preowc 5ubrju kyq In the KB, the output shall be as follows: In the vMX in eve-ng, the output is the same, so success : )) Cheers, juan Edited October 8, 2021 by juan added tags 165 37 1

My problem is I use eve-ng community edition, and v20 and above is not yet supported. But that's a great news as little further no longer license will be needed : )
kechik
Hi Juan. Yes, it due to need Ubuntu 18 to run vMX version 20 and above. Just my recommendation u can change to use PNETLAB. It feature similar like EVE-PRO and it free. Previously im also use EVE-Community. Thanks

The PNETLAB environment works perfectly and allow things as eve-ng pro does, such as hot link connection and dockers.

Same is true on 20+. But with license you've provided it will be working. 😁Just checked it: This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Edited October 13, 2021 by Tormato 46

I read in other thread for eve-ng / PNETLab leveraged by Ubuntu 18 was not necessary a license... But if there is a need for it, the trial one does the job. The only drawback is at the end of the trial, you have to "clean" and defaults restore the nodes 😞 19
