Assuming we have a running DNAC 1.3.1 , Is there any possiblity to simulate Catalyst 9XXX series physical switches ?

Yes it is running on 2X12 cores with 256 gig RAM nad 1.5 TB SSD. Installed it on ESXI 6.7 U3

@masterjack, for SD-Access, you require real devices. Till now no virtual images supports. You can create overlay using CSR1000v but no underlay.

which server u using..and which are the best server for lab usage

I am using an assembled server with ASUS Motherboard & E5-2697V2 x 2 CPUs. It doesn't matter which brand you are using, but the minimum Spec must met.

i have tried to install the DNAC image many times 13.1.7 and 1.3.3.7 and even 2.x.x but with no luck, when i run $ maglev package status after installation it gives empty output

i hope you can help me in that

How much ram did you allocate to the VM ? Any doc or instructions for the installation ?

Just Wait DNACv will be released soon , you can go with very minum sepcs like 64GB RAM  , SAS Disks

Via DNAC ? So manual underlay provisioning works in this case ?

No, it would still be SSD, 192GB ram and 32 vCPU.

Yes, official virtual appliance is being released. No, it won't be 64GB nor SAS. Just virtual, and because it's virtual, license will be enforced.
