A. 5 B. 6 C. 7 D. 10 E. 20 Dump answer is 7. But based on the below formula it has to be 10: n*n-1 /2 On an Ethernet with five routers running OSPF as network type broadcast, there would be 10 fully established neighbor relationships. This is because each router would establish a neighbor relationship with every other router in the network. In total, 5 routers * (5 routers - 1) = 10 fully established neighbor relationships. OSPF only makes full neighbotship with DR & BDR, on boardcast network, 7 is correct

R3 and R4 are the current ABRs at the boundary of OSPF Area0 and Areal. Now BGP must be deployed within AS 100 because it will be receiving. Internet routes from its eBGP peers (the service provider) connected to R1 and R2. What is an optimal solution for this deployment to configure BGP relationships and redistribute BGP learned routes into OSPF? A. R5 should be configured as a route reflector for R1, R2, R3 and R4. BGP routes must be redistributed at R1 and R2 into OSPF. B. Configuration should be set up with R1 and R2, and R3 in one sub AS, with and R4 in another, and redistribution at R1 and R2. C. A full mesh should be deployed between all the routers with mutual redistribution to take place at R1 and R2. D. R1, R2, R3 and R4 must be set up with a neighbor relationship with R5 only must not be a route reflector. I am confused between A & C. please give your input. C is not optimal

Strict Reverse Path Forwarding Strict Reverse Path Forwarding (Strict RPF) is a simple way to implement an ingress filter. It is conceptually identical to using access lists for ingress filtering, with the exception that the access list is dynamic. This may also be used to avoid duplicate configuration (e.g., maintaining both static routes or BGP prefix- list filters and interface access-lists). The procedure is that the source address is looked up in the Forwarding Information Base (FIB) - and if the packet is received on the interface which would be used to forward the traffic to the source of the packet, it passes the check. 2.3. Feasible Path Reverse Path Forwarding Feasible Path Reverse Path Forwarding (Feasible RPF) is an extension of Strict RPF. The source address is still looked up in the FIB (or an equivalent, RPF-specific table) but instead of just inserting one best route there, the alternative paths (if any) have been added as well, and are valid for consideration. The list is populated using routing-protocol specific methods, for example by including all or N (where N is less than all) feasible BGP paths in the Routing Information Base (RIB). Sometimes this method has been implemented as part of a Strict RPF implementation. In the case of asymmetric routing and/or multihoming at the edge of the network, this approach provides a way to relatively easily address the biggest problems of Strict RPF. Kannu
HI All, 247q file is enough to pass. All of my questions were from this file only. But keep in mind, you need to cram each question coz there are a lot of wrong answers. Even after following all the changes mentioned in this 43 pages conversation (Including David's changes in 37 page), I got passing marks only. I believe you can skip 292q PL file since all questions are from 247q dump only. 2
