CIMC_3.2.11.5.bin

Try CIMC_3.2.12.2.bin ( for UCS E180D M3)  Confirmed also works on older E160D-M2 even though  3.2.11.5 announced as latest version.

maybe bad file ?

How do you transfer the file to the devices? We expirance issues with HTTPS transfer. if the firmware is realy realy old that the certificate store is out of date and will not copy the files. Then we just use an http server with an ACL.

And besides look good at the upgrade path from Cisco, if Cisco has an upgrade path that requires an in-between version it will not upgrade. and I believe you get the same error as i got a while ago. (I upgraded an nexus 9k switch without checking). And I got about the same error as your getting right now.

Hope it helps.
