  2. Result Failed ==== I used vendor sp*t*, they also don't have the solution for the new lab exam. so no point to buy from them ==== Feedback Design: 40% old Design ALL new questions about Hyperconverged vs Converged Systems, about UCS Director multi node deployment, about ACI considerations, ======================================================== Feedback about Deploy, Operate and Optimize all new questions, only about 10% like old DOO Topology is “almost” the same, but the connectivity in ACI with Nexus is different (L2out, new L3out with SVI, VPC, and L2 ports only (******** access to vCenter and DCNM is obtained by configuring stuff correctly, otherwise you do not get access to both consoles) Section 1: - VPC but with new considerations (delay restore, Active Switch, etc) - Troubleshoot OSPF (the process is called DATACENTER, and in some ports it shows as DATACENTER1, DC1, MTU misconfiguration in some ports, network types) etc; - tricky multicast question about not using shared trees with IP 100.0.0.1, in DC1 and DC2 —— two loopback in the environment (N9k-DC1 and N9k-DC2) use this same IP already (Lo100) - nothing configured for VXLAN EVPN multisite (for a session that is slow this is a killler as there is a lot to configure for BGP, VXLAN, etc). maybe use DCNM to deploy quickly the fabric for DC1 and DC2? this involves 3 questions: all BGP configs, configure vxlan and nve1, multicast - question about configuring syslog with level 5 only - configure NTP on N5ks in DC1, N5k-1 configured as NTP Server, and N5k-2 configured as NTP client - using DCNM, configure only a policy for DC1 and DC2 - N9k-DC2 change a python script located at /bootflash/changepython.py (do not forget to save the script) - Access to N7k is through VDC admin — there are 4 VDCs in DC1 named as 1, 2, 3, and 4 (you have to find which one is connected to N5ks and N9ks); there are 3 VDCs in DC2 named as 1, 2, 3 (you have to find which one is connected to N9k-DC2, and which to ACI, L2Out, L3out with SVI, VPC, etc) Section2: - Discover the UCS has an issue, server ports for IOM-A shows as either disconnected or down, spent a lot of time trying to figure out if it was a config issue (proctor said the questions indicate but did not found the issue) — hence this affected the whole solutions as IOM-A was never discovered - Monitor vhbas on service profiles using int 1/32 on the Fabric Interconnects - full L2 disjoint solution, as vlan 101-104 have to use the port-channels going to Nexus 5k1 and N5k-2, and VLANs 10, 20, 30 and 40 have to be transmitted to N5k-3 and Nk-4 (unified port instead of FCoE port) - Troubleshoot SP1 assigned to Server 2, (as there was a path missing because of IOM-A not discovered other issues showed up, such as path not available, etc). the issue to troubleshoot is RAID configuration). all policies and SP template for this SP are in place - create new policies to troubleshoot SP2 ( you have to clone SP1 to SP2, then SP2 is assigned to Server 1, this is the one to boot from SAN, most of configs are in place, but you have to create new ones, WWPN 10 and 11 still apply) - create zoning from scratch so that SP2 boots from SAN (remember, as there was an issue discovering IOM-A even though you config correctly you will be missing a path to boot disk if you did not solve the Server Port issues) …. new vsan numbers vsan 50 and vsan 60; ports are shut in both N5k3 and N5k4, and FI-A and FI-B - create new policies (like network control and others) - Section3: (all new here, all from scratch, so probably a strategy to configure faster) - All access policies from scratch (Physical domain, virtual domain, VLAN pools, Int Profiles, Int Policies, Switch profiles, etc) - Discover Fex 101 and Fex 102 (DC3) - Create new Tenant from scratch, with EPGs to migrate , and with EPGs to discover - create a lot of contracts from scratch, with different filters - Create BD1, BD2, and VRF1 - Create a VPC peer between L101 and L104, to be used for a port-channel from N7k VDC called 3…. - Create an L3Out using SVI 199, and make sure adjacency forms in Nexus 7k - Create an L2Out - configure 65501 as RR in the Fabric ( ***** only two spines addedd , make sure all spines are considered *******) - make sure that VMs on same EPG do not talk to each other (endpoint security groups?)
