nagis1986
Hi All, for Sec 2.4, when we need to push centralize policy for route leaking, vSmart has to be managed by vManage (under management mode). by default i believe its in CLI mode. So my question is shall we just create a CLI template , copy paste current vSmart config to the template and attach to vSmart, or must create individual Feature Template (VPN0,VPN512 etc) . This because using CLI template is much faster compared to creating feature template one by one. we Just need to make vSmart is in vManage mode. There was no specific requirement stated in question. mountaintop2
I usually just make a vpn0, vpn0 interface, vpn512 and vpn512 interface for vSmart. I haven't tried copying and pasting a CLI template, but I've heard others do that and it would be much faster.
mountaintop2
As for the "requirement", there is none. The requirement is for the policies, and in order to do that, vSmart must be managed. I don't think they care which route you go to get it managed.
