Description
In this video lecture you will study the basic concepts of internet of things. The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the network of interconnected devices that can communicate and exchange data with each other over the internet. These devices range from everyday household items to sophisticated industrial tools. The primary goal of IoT is to create a smarter, more efficient world where devices work seamlessly together to improve our daily lives and business operations. Next we will explore on iot architecture. IoT architecture refers to the structure and design of an IoT system, encompassing all components and their interactions. It typically consists of multiple layers, each responsible for specific functions within the system. These layers ensure that IoT devices can communicate, process data, and provide meaningful insights and actions. Next we will explore on smart farming and smart pest controls. Smart farming, also known as precision agriculture, involves the use of IoT technology to monitor and manage agricultural operations more efficiently. By integrating sensors, devices, and data analytics, smart farming aims to increase crop yields, reduce resource consumption, and enhance overall farm productivity. Then finally we will discuss on future and research scope of smart farming and pest control technique. The future of smart farming is poised to revolutionize agriculture by making it more efficient, productive, and sustainable. Emerging technologies and innovative solutions will continue to shape this sector, addressing current limitations and unlocking new potentials. Then we will discuss the evolution of IOT in more detail. Further we will discuss iot reference model, physical, datalink , m2m data management and networking in more detail.
