  1. Hello! Just passed the MD-102 exam few daysa ago! 62 questions in total and scored 920/1000!! It's definitely a difficult exam to pass. Majority of the exam is focused on Intune practices and older Microsoft Windows deployment software. - Intune based questions: app protection policies (lots of that in my exam) and other policies in the security Intune panel, They were heavy on security and understanding compliance policies and applicability. - Older Microsoft Windows deployment software: such as MDT, configuration manager, group policy, PXE. Some tips for preparing and passing MD-102 exam: 1. See that you know when you use what; as an example, what do you use to import bookmarks to a device? Why are you using this? What is the most efficient way to do this? 2. MDT is not that common anymore, I myself had 3 out of 62 questions about MDT. The rest of the questions were about Intune, Autopilot and Specifically about certain situations: a domain with 100 devices needs to be managed as effectively as possible, how do you proceed. Know how to do this: do you collect CSV first or if you work with vendor you can use OEM autopilot. What are the pro's and cons about this? 3. Know the difference between Azure AD Joined and registered. Also pay VERY close attention to this, what can and can't be done? Can a device that is registered in Azure AD e.g. use autopilot or not? What happens to this device when a windows update is pushed from the intune portal? Does the update happen or not? 4. As you know there are case studies at Microsoft. In those studies there are many things to confuse you. Know well when something matters. E.g., Do you look at the scope tag or an assignment, does dynamic or static assignment matter? When something is in two group, Which has priority: exclusion or inclusion? what has priority: user assigned rights or group rights?
