[OFFER] DNAC-SW-1.3.3.7

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have been trying to onboard c3650/3850 via PnP but its not working yet.

DHCP assigns IP address to interface on 3850/3650 which is directly connected to uplink switch.. but PnP process does not proceed.

I have added pnpa startup-vlan 200 on the uplink.

Is there something else to do?

interface GigabitEthernet1/1/1
 description PNP STARTUP VLAN
 switchport trunk native vlan 200
 switchport trunk allowed vlan 200
 switchport mode trunk
!
interface GigabitEthernet1/1/2

Don't bother guys. I got it working now. C3850/C3650/C3560-CX all onboarded on DNA-C via PnP.

Thanks for the image and taking the time to post instructions. Anyone run into the following error when installing? I will continue searching to see if I can find a fix.

configuration failed:

shell command timed out after 600 seconds of inactivity: rsync --archive --verbose --force --sparse --one-file-system --exclude=/dev* --exclude =/proc/* 00exclude=/tmp/* --exclude=/lost+found --exclude=/var/log/cloud-init* / /mnt/sda2

Never mind, looks like it works now after splitting the drives. I followed dojo DNA installation youtube video. How did you guys configure / allocate the disk spaces during installation?

What was your config ?

Whats your resources ?

Sorry, I just saw your message. I used 52 virtual CPUs, 192 GB of RAM, thin provision  412GB first drive, 1TB 2nd drive, and 1TB third drive.  The only versions I have found to work is the one listed here 1.3.3.7 and 1.3.1. I can't get any other versions to work.

Also, you need to have internet access during the installation or else things will break.

Any chance you can shrink the vmdk files and share it ? I'm guessing it's huge..

How much longer to wait until it gets completed? i dont see any errors in the installation its just seems like its very slow.  Does anyone else have the same experience?

I followed this video to get it installed and booted successfully . make sure block Internet access on Management Network . (dont let it go Internet)

its the same that i followed.. you mean to say.., the installation dont need to go through internet? as long as it can ping the GW, do dns query and NTP its fine? or before it reboots i need to remove access to the internet? coz this process is where i am stuck.... after the reboot it takes very long time and stuck there. appreciate your response and guidance mate!

please advise mate, i am not sure if this is HDD issue or image issue.

1. Verify the MD5/SHA checksum of the image/ISO file you have match the one listed in Cisco website . if didnt match then must redownload the image .

2. if checksum match then indeed you must use SSD ! . I used SSD to install the same version you trying to install and did work !!
