Meanwhile... on FMC 7.2 is pretty cool. Much less CPU/RAM load although resources required is still officially the same as 7.0 , SNORT 3.0 . Working great in EVE-NG .  Able to connect and update automatically from Cisco cloud. Oh, AND smart license hack.....

Well, look like the licensing in FMC v7.1 has changed significantly from earlier versions including 7.0.1 . Licenses status are returned directly from SmartAgent instead of from various config files. 1st attempts hack the license for lab uses has not been successful. Good news is that 7.0.1 is working great so far. Cloud updates are also fine.

Hi, can you give a way to hck FMC 7.1 ?

This guy never helps, just brags, read his other posts. Never shares anything, just leeches.

You can crack the FMC 7.0.5 (72) version (recommended stable) with the procedure from this topic:

but instead of "mysql -uroot -padmin sfsnort" run "OmniQuery.pl -db sfsnort", the rest is the same. Everything works - Clustering, export-featurs, VPNs, Threat, URL up to 250Mbps limit (HSEC limit).

I didn't try to upgrade, but will probably work fine aswell. But there is no point 7.0.5 is perfectly stable and capable FW, enough for learning purposes, enough to learn for SNCF and CCIE.
