netkillui, what is the trick to get these to work in EVE/GNS3?   I know and have the previous instructions for the IOL XE 17.12  L2/L3 (.bin) images, but these aren't working the same

BrandonCCIE, I did  test them. Just copied them in the folder and build a lab. They work. I didn't add or remove anything. I previously followed the instructions with IOL XE from 2.7 and didn't modify aything at all after that.  They work. Check the screenshots. The date on them is 2024. That's from 2.8

#2 - lapidari3007 - you are right, same instructions.  Seems the process is very touchy, need to add them to server files, then re-do all the instructions again.  Now it's working!
