PFE boots up, but it says it's 19.4R1.

Yes, you are right. Not sure why that happened. A customer support agent provided me with the version I put in this thread title... I will update version in the title, tough

Hi all, I have questions on this version. Can you get output from cli

show ethernet-switching table

The same happens to me:

{linecard:1}
root@vqfx-re> show ethernet-switching table
error: the l2-learning subsystem is not running

The interesting thing is that I Telnet to the PFE too, and I got constant disconections, as if it wasn't booting up... it only appears this log:

RFB 003.008

Anyone else can check it, plase?

juan

I think it is version 20.2R1, not 19.4R1.10,
vqfx-20.2R1.10-re-qemu.qcow2
MD5: 20220bfa3d387184fce957936eeeb4ec

vqfx-19.4R1.10-re-qemu.qcow2
MD5 : 42aa81054ad378cb5480c865ed42b7be

juan,

Can you help me download the RE file of the version
vqfx-17.3R3-S2-re-qemu.qcow2
MD5: fbf8aa48dd486527942eee7a6e05feb1

Tks

Yes, is that version, vQFX10k - v19.4R1.10. Maybe is related with emulation environment. In my case, I use PNETlab (latest version available). I saw some commands to modify or restart the ethernet switching process, without any luck.

Thanks

Hi @mithr, I use qemu image in PNETLab, but I have not so much time to debug the error...

maybe you just used the wrong combination of images. that is why i am asking you about the image names that you used to check if they are the same as mine

I have these files:

vqfx-20.2R1.10-re-qemu.qcow2

vqfx-20.2R1-2019010209-pfe-qemu.qcow (yes, it's not qcow2)

But in fact is version 19.4R1.10

you are right i did not notice that the 20.2R1 gives actually the 19.4R1.10

but anyway using the actual 19.4R1.10 it does not give me back any error to your command so it should be good

Thank you @mithr. Then I will ask for the actual 19.4 to jtac and use it to practice. I will update files here in the offer.

anytime juan i did nothing. basically if you have contact with them maybe also report to them about the incorrect 20.2R1 images that they are wrong. maybe they will check and update

Yes, you are right, I should report them on the issue, as I have the right to test the virtual images up to latest version. Thanks for the suggestion.
